Herga heisst Ed Charlson als neuen Geschäftsführer Operations willkommen

Zum Januar 2015 startete bei unserer Schwesterfirma Herga Technologies Ed Charlson. Als neuer Geschäftsführer Operations wird er maßgeblich die Zukunft von Herga Technologies gestalten.

Becoming Part of the Team at Herga Technology.

Ed's first interview took place back in November 2014. He remembers seeing the opportunities on his first visit and says ܀I knew within an hour of being here that this was the perfect challenge for me and thankfully the position was offered soon after".

Ed is well suited to the position based on his past experiences. In his previous job role he has re built an SME to achieve 100% delivery performance with supporting awards.

Ed's main responsibilities are going to involve improving operational activities, promoting continual improvement throughout the business and exceed customer expectations. Along with these responsibilities Ed also plans on giving employees an opportunity to progress, he says ܀Most importantly I want to focus and work with the people on upskilling, developing career paths in a manner that supports aggressive growth plans"

Ed's Goals for Herga Technology

Ed has set himself a challenge to introduce new technology and innovation throughout the company through proactively knowing market wants.Ü  He would like to develop and provide skills for existing staff members so that everyone can embrace the changes within the business.

During Ed's first few weeks here at Herga, two of our employees celebrated working for us for 20 years, this is fantastic commitment and something which Ed found very encouraging ܀It was heartening to see long service awards being presented to staff within a week of my appointment".

What is the Future hold for our New Operations Director?

As well as the excitement of relocating and beginning a new personal journey with his family, Ed is looking forward to getting stuck in him-self and encouraging the participation of the growing number of staff here at Herga Technology. This way we can all enjoy a responsive business which continues to improve to become the Best In Class". He Says ܀I have my own targets on financial improvements regarding all on site operations but I want to see a prospering business".
